The AI & Automation Process Transformation Specialist – HRSC & Payroll will help accelerate process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across HR Shared Services and Global Payroll. This role will partner directly with HRSC and Payroll leadership to evaluate current process taxonomy, identify automation opportunities, convert legacy manual or macro-based processes into scalable solutions, and develop practical roadmap materials and executive-ready artifacts. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience applying automation and AI tools in business operations, including Power Query, Power Automate, Excel Copilot/agents, and related technologies, while also building internal capability through training and upskilling. This role is intended to create sustainable automation capability, reduce dependency on manual work, and enable teams to become increasingly self-sufficient in continuous improvement.

Main responsibilities: 

• Process Discovery & Transformation Analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and define automation and AI-driven improvement opportunities.
• Power Platform Solution Delivery Design, build, and implement solutions using Power Automate, Power BI, Power Query, Copilot Studio, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Legacy Process Modernization Transform VBA tools, spreadsheets, manual reconciliations, and fragmented workflows into scalable and governed solutions.
• AI & Automation Enablement Apply AI-powered tools and automation technologies to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering Collaborate with business stakeholders and SMEs to understand requirements and design practical solutions.
• Process Documentation & Business Case Development Create process maps, roadmaps, business cases, training materials, and executive-level presentations.
• Change Management & Capability Building Drive adoption through training, coaching, and upskilling teams on automation and continuous improvement practices.
• Continuous Improvement & Governance Establish sustainable automation frameworks, monitor outcomes, and ensure alignment with governance standards.

• Motor Control Engineering Experience Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in motor control engineering.
• Motor Control Algorithm Expertise Strong knowledge of control algorithms for induction, synchronous, and permanent magnet motors.
• MATLAB/Simulink Development Skills Experience with model-based development using MATLAB and Simulink.
• Power Converter Knowledge Understanding of power converter topologies, modulation strategies, and drive system modeling.
• Converter Control Systems Expertise Knowledge of converter control schemes and electrical drive system behavior.
• Laboratory Testing Experience Hands-on experience performing testing and validation in laboratory environments.
• Problem-Solving and Innovation Skills Experience investigating anomalies and developing new control algorithms and features.
• Agile and AI-Driven Engineering Mindset Experience working in Agile environments and openness to leveraging AI tools for engineering productivity.

• Advanced Engineering Education Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Embedded Real-Time Systems Experience Extensive experience in embedded software development with model-based design approaches.
• Motor Drives and Power Electronics Background Experience developing motor drives, power converters, and related control systems.
• Advanced Programming Skills Strong knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++ development.
